Our Mini Movers Class is for the youngest students at our Academy: Ages 3-5.
Mini Movers is the perfect introduction to dance and focuses predominantly on having fun through dance, storytelling and games, whilst starting to develop the key skills in dancing, including: Musicality, timing, flexibility, balance and coordination.
Mini Movers is perfect for any little ones with lots of energy and who love to have fun and like trying new things! Mini Movers focuses on learning a range of different dance styles, including: Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Funk and Street Dance.
Mini Movers is a perfect way to begin building your little ones confidence, develop important social skills and make new friends.
Dance classes at our Academy work towards optional annual dance showcases as well as competitions and public performances throughout the academic year.
UNIFORM
All students attending classes are expected to wear uniform to class.
Uniform for our dance classes:
- Any black bottoms (leggings/shorts/tracksuit bottoms)
- Academy t-shirt (personalisable with children's name)

COVID-19
We are continuing to stay updated on government guidance to ensure our classes are safe and compliant. If in the case that we are forced to stop our in person classes, all classes will be moved over to our online platform, Zoom, and continue as normal. In this case, we will not be able to offer any refunds as all classes will continue until we are able to move back to in person.
Price:
£25.50 per month
This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: SUBSCRIPTION TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Fixation Academy runs in accordance with school term times. Your payment plan covers all fees for the year. Any extra rehearsals that may be requested by Fixation Academy during the lead up to performances will fall within the subscription monthly fee and will not result in any additional charges. Additional events hosted by Fixation Academy, including parties, taster days and holiday camps are not included within your subscription fee and are at an additional, optional cost.
Class fees are split into 11 affordable payments; fees are still due during term holidays (excluding the month of August). Fees are payable on the 1st of every month. If you start half way through a month, you will be charged for the number of classes in that month and then your first payment will be occur.
If your child wishes to change class, please give one month’s written notice via email to subscriptions@fixationacademy.co.uk. If your child does not wish to continue with any class, please inform us in writing by the end date of the term (Autumn Term 13/12/2022 / Spring Term 10/03/2023 / Summer Term 10/07/202) to cancel your place and not be charged for the following term. Our cancellation policy will apply at all times.
Please note all students taking part in our yearly show will need to pay an additional non-refundable Show Fee of £50.00. This includes a Fixation Show T-shirt as well as selected costumes worn during the show. This is charged within the Spring Term and parents and carers will be notified by email when this amount is due. If payment of the Show Fee is not met by the set deadline, your child will not be included in the yearly show.
